Michael Moffitt Jr. was a towering figure for the track and field program during his tenure from 2013 to 2017. Moffitt soared to unparalleled heights, clinching the NAIA National Championship twice in the high jump in 2015 and 2016. With a remarkable haul of six NAIA All-American honors and three Crossroads League Championships to his name, Moffitt consistently showcased his unwavering dedication to excellence. His legacy is etched in the record books, as he holds the program records at the time of his induction for both indoor and outdoor high jump, with an impressive height of 2.16 meters or 7 feet 1 inch.
