Hall of Honor
Brennan Coil’s extraordinary track and field career at Indiana Wesleyan from 2016-2019 has earned him a well-deserved place in the IWU Hall of Honor. His strength was unmatched in the shot put during the 2019 indoor season, culminating in the crowning achievement of a 2019 NAIA Indoor National Championship. Coil's talent and work ethic earned him the distinction of a five-time NAIA All-American, with three titles in shot put and two in discus. As testament to his dependability and dominance, he secured four Crossroads League Championships and amassed an impressive twelve All-Crossroads League honors throughout his career. Solidifying his legacy, Coil holds the program records at the time of his induction for both indoor shot put, with a staggering 18.31 meters (60 feet, 0.8 inches), and outdoor shot put, at an impressive 18.23 meters (59 feet, 9.7 inches). Coil’s impact extended beyond personal achievements, as he played a vital role in this team securing the 2018 Crossroads League Indoor Championship team.
