Dr. Jim Lo, a beloved figure in the IWU community, embodies the spirit of faith, service, and unwavering commitment, making him a true inspiration and deserving member of the Hall of Honor. As a prayer warrior and unwavering supporter of the IWU Athletic Department, Dr. Lo's impact has been immeasurable. Having embarked on over 2,000 prayer walks around campus, his devotion to fostering a spirit of prayer and intercession is unparalleled. After retiring this year from IWU, he leaves behind a legacy as a professor in the School of Theology and Ministry and Campus Intercessor. Dr. Lo's leadership extended beyond the classroom, as he served as Dean of the Chapel for 8 years, inspiring countless students and faculty members with his passionate faith. With a remarkable 13-year tenure as a Wesleyan missionary in Southern Africa, Dr. Lo's global impact is undeniable. Recognized for his exceptional teaching skills, he has been a five-time Professor of the Year, a two-time Excellence in Teaching award recipient, and was honored with the esteemed title of an IWU Distinguished Alumnus in 2007. Dr. Lo's contributions were further recognized with the IWU Athletic Director's Award and the 2012 President's Award for Outstanding Leadership.
