Hall of Honor
Jonny Marlin quickly asserted himself as a dominant point guard for the Men’s Basketball program in his two seasons from 2014-2016 after transferring from Indiana University. Marlin was a pivotal member of the 2016 team’s ascent to the mountaintop, culminating in the program second NAIA National Championship. His stellar performances earned him the prestigious title of a two-time NAIA First Team All-American and a two-time All-Crossroads League First Team honoree. Marlin's impact transcended individual accolades. He selflessly put the team first, contributing significantly to the 2015 Crossroads League Regular Season and Tournament Championship triumphs. Renowned for his court vision and passing ability, Marlin consistently ranked among the NAIA's elite, finishing both seasons in the Top 10 for assists, assists per game, and assist/turnover ratio. All of these exceptional accomplishments serve as a testament for his rightful place as an IWU Hall of Honor inductee.
