CLEVELAND, Ga. — Indiana Wesleyan Men's Tennis finished out their spring break with a decisive win over Truett McConnell in Georgia on Friday. To start,
Valentino Trento and
Timo Fischer got the first win with a 6-1 finish at no. 2 doubles.
Matheus Lima and
Michail Klinkov followed with a win at no. 1 singles, and
Carter Poquette and
Isaiah Hostetler swept the doubles matches.
Matheus Lima continued to play well, winning the first singles point, 6-0, 6-2. The next three matches went in order of singles number with Klinkov, Trento, and Fischer each winning their singles match. Now having clinched the match already, IWU finished it off by having Hostetler win the only third set of the evening at no. 6 singles and
Carter Poquette finalized the sweep by winning 6-2, 7-5.
