MARION, Ind. — Indiana Wesleyan Men's Tennis hosted the University of Saint Francis on a sunny and cold Tuesday afternoon. The Wildcats took down the Cougars by a score of 7-0. In doubles, all three IWU teams won with
Timo Fischer and
Valentino Trento coming out of a long, hard-fought tiebreaker battle with the 7-6 win at no. 2 doubles.
The Wildcats battled in singles and would come out with a win at each position to secure the sweep.
Matheus Lima and
Michail Klinkov were dominant at the no. 1 and 2 spots winning 6-2, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-1 respectively.
Timo Fischer and
Valentino Trento both came out with well deserved wins in the middle positions while
Isaiah Hostetler and
Max Holliday each walked away with 3 set tiebreaker wins at no. 5 and 6 singles.
