CEDARVILLE, Ohio. - Indiana Wesleyan University Men's Tennis took on another D-2 opponent in West Virginia State on Saturday morning. The Wildcats lost 4-2 on the neutral court in Cedarville today. IWU had opportunities to win as it was 1-1 in the doubles and Indiana Wesleyan had two match points in doubles to clinch the doubles point, but were unable to get the final point. Mattheus Lima won a third set super tiebreaker at no. 1 singles. West Virginia State came back quickly with a win at no. 4 singles. Down 2-1, IWU came back to tie the match at two all with a third set super tiebreak win by
Timo Fischer. With the match knotted up West Virginia State was able to win a 10 point super tiebreaker at no. 2 singles to get a 3-2 lead. Down 3-2 the Wildcats were about to take the first set at no. 6 singles when WVS was able to close out the number five singles match to clinch the 4-2 win.
