KANSAS CITY, Mo. - As the defending NAIA National Champions, Indiana Wesleyan volleyball came in at No. 1 in the preseason installment of the NAIA Women's Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll,  as announced by the national office on Wednesday. The Wildcats received 19 of the 21 first-place votes.

IWU opened the season with a 4-3 record with losses coming to No. 2 Concordia, No. 3 Bellevue, and No. 12 Viterbo. Two of the three losses went five sets.

The Wildcats are back in action tonight, opening the Crossroads League season against Grace in Winona Lake.
