MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan football sophomore
Drew Dutton was named the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Mideast Special Teams Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. This is his first league weekly honor of the season and the fifth for the Wildcats this year.
Dutton set new single-game records for the Wildcats with two kickoff return touchdowns, 170 return yards, and 85 yards per return, while his 95-yard return tied the longest in a game with Justin Johnson in 2022.
"Drew has been getting better each week," said
Andrew Rode, Head Football Coach. "The KOR unit did a great job blocking for Drew."
