MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan football senior
Deven Arevalo was named the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Mideast Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. This is his first league weekly honor of the season and the fourth for the Wildcats this year.
Arevalo led the Wildcat defense with two interceptions and three tackles in the 31-3 win over Saint Xavier on Saturday.
"Deven's relentless work ethic has helped him grow to be a great leader and player for us," said
Andrew Rode, Head Football Coach. "He made some big plays in the game that led our team to victory."
