PREVIEW: NO. 6 FOOTBALL TRAVELS TO JUDSON FOR FIRST ROAD GAME

MARION, IND.  – The No. 6-ranked Indiana Wesleyan football team hits the road this Saturday night for a primetime matchup against Judson University, with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m. ET at Streamwood High School. The Wildcats look to carry their momentum into another non-conference test as they square off against the Eagles under the lights.

  • Arjun Lothe has started both games for the Wildcats at quarterback, completing 46 of 92 passes for 605 yards (5th in NAIA), four touchdowns, and two interceptions, averaging 302.5 yards per game (7th in NAIA) with a passer rating of 115.24. He has also contributed on the ground with four rushes for three yards and one touchdown. As the primary signal-caller, Lothe's performance has been key to the team's 406.0 yards of total offense per game.
  • Cameron Morrison has appeared in both games as part of the Wildcats' rushing attack with 28 carries for 96 yards, averaging 3.4 yards per attempt and 48.0 yards per game without a touchdown. Ayden Ewing, in his lone appearance, rushed 11 times for 34 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 3.1 yards per carry, while also converting a two-point rush attempt for a total of 14 points. Together, they have helped the team accumulate 207 rushing yards through two games.
  • Isaac Smith has been a top target in two games, hauling in 18 receptions (2nd in NAIA) for 198 yards and one touchdown, averaging 11.0 yards per catch and 99.0 yards per game. Braxton Myers has contributed seven catches for 172 yards and one touchdown across two games, boasting a team-high 24.57 yards per reception average with a long of 49 yards. Their combined efforts have fueled the Wildcats' 302.5 passing yards per game.
  • Deven Arevalo has made an immediate impact in two games, recording 13.0 tackles (5 solo), 0.5 tackles for loss, and leading the team with two interceptions for 52 return yards. His standout performance includes earning MSFA Mideast Defensive Player of the Week honors after grabbing two interceptions in the last game against Saint Xavier.
  • Vincie Solano leads the Wildcats with 18.0 tackles (8 solo) through two games, adding 1.0 tackle for loss, one interception, and one pass breakup.
  • Josh Clifton has been perfect on field goals, going 2-for-2 from 30-39 yards with a long of 33, while converting 6-of-7 PATs for a total of 12 points in two games. He has handled all 12 kickoffs for 701 yards, averaging 58.4 yards per kick with two touchbacks.
 
EAGLE LEADERS | 2025 SEASON STATS
  • Marcus Freeman has started both games for the Eagles, completing 43 of 70 passes for 424 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception, achieving a 61.4% completion rate and averaging 212.0 yards per game. He has also contributed on the ground with one rushing touchdown.
  • Tyler Johnson leads the Eagles' rushing attack through two games with 18 carries for 66 yards, averaging 3.7 yards per attempt and 33.0 yards per game, including one touchdown and a long run of 27 yards. Harrison Hannah has been the workhorse with 21 carries for 34 net yards, averaging 1.6 yards per rush and 17.0 yards per game.
  • Grant Alexander Jr. has been a standout target in two games, catching 11 passes for 192 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 17.5 yards per reception and 96.0 yards per game with a long of 70 yards. Cassidy Whitaker matches the reception total with 11 catches for 140 yards, averaging 12.7 yards per grab and 70.0 yards per game. Avant Rowe rounds out the trio with 11 receptions for 107 yards, averaging 9.7 yards per catch and 53.5 yards per game.
  • Bryden Miller, Avrian Gilbert, and Nick Curry each lead the Eagles with 18.0 total tackles through two games. Bodda Hassanin leads the Eagles with 2.0 sacks for 11 yards through two games, showcasing his pass-rushing ability with 3.5 tackles for loss totaling 16 yards.
  • Oscar Ortiz has handled extra-point duties in two games, converting 4 of 6 attempts for a 67% success rate, totaling four points without any field goal tries.
