MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan ESports saw six Wildcats earn 2024-25 NECC Academic All-Conference Honors that was announced last week.
The NECC's Academic All-Conference selections recognize the outstanding academic achievements of the conference's student-athletes. To be eligible, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher.
"To be able to have two teams who qualify for the NECC National Tournament and also have over 50% of those teams meet the requirements for Academic All-Conference is incredible," said Esports head coach Ryan Plummer. "These students worked so hard this year so its great to see their work pay off!"
This is the first year the NECC Academic All-Conference Honors have been announced and it is the first group of the Wildcats to earn the award.
