MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan Esports had only one game this week as Rocket League played the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire. The Wildcats had a game scheduled against Illinois Tech on Tuesday, but the Scarlet Hawks had to forfiet giving the win to IWU.
Rocket League faced off against Wisconsin Eau-Claire on Wednesday night, falling in a 1-4 decision. The Wildcats lost the first game before bouncing back in game 2. However, the Blugolds were able to put up a big 4-2 win in game 3 and win two straight overtime games to clinch the series. This is only the second loss of the season for the Wildcats Rocket League team. They have one more match to finish the season, playing against undefeated Carroll University on Tuesday, March 17. A win could propel them into second in the Central B Division, depending on future results from Carroll and Indiana Tech.
