MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan volleyball senior
Abbigail Porter was named the NAIA Setter of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday. This marks the sixth time the Winona Lake native has claimed the honor, in her career.
"Abbie continues to lead our team's offense with a lot of steadiness and grit!" Said Head Coach
Candace Moats. "Her calm presence and encouraging spirit keeps her team fighting. We are grateful for the hard work she puts in everyday!"
Porter led the Wildcats to a pair of sweeps over Grace and Spring Arbor by totaling 76 assists and 23 digs, while adding six kills and a block. She also reached 1000th career digs in the win over Spring Arbor.
IWU hosts Saint Francis in Luckey Arena at 7:00 PM on Wednesday.
