GEORGETOWN, Ky. - Indiana Wesleyan men's tennis lost the doubles point and were not playing well against the 25 mph winds and a tough Georgetown College team. The slide continued in the singles, as IWU lost the first set at 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6 singles.
The comeback began when
Trey Thixton got IWU on the board with a 6-1, 6-3 win. IWU turned the match around with gritty, hard fought second set wins at 3-5 singles. With the match on the line, the men won three straight 10 point super-tiebreakers to clinch the match 4-3.
