MARION, Ind. - No. 10 Indiana Wesleyan University women's soccer took the field Saturday night against county rival Taylor University. It was a back-and-forth match, with the Trojans outshooting the Wildcats 11-9. The Wildcats were able to find the back of the net twice in the first half, while their goalies anchored the defense with four key saves in the second half. The win gives IWU a record of 4-0-1 in their last five meetings with Taylor. Taylor has collected just one goal against IWU in 480-minutes of soccer.

- Sarah Foulk had a breakaway goal just ten minutes into the match, for her eighth goal of the season leading the Wildcats. Jackie Norris played the beautiful ball to Foulk.
- Ten minutes later Jackie Norris increased the Wildcat's lead to 2-0, pushing her season goal total to three.
- 5: The Wildcats defended five straight corner kicks from the Trojans, keeping them from scoring.
- 3: Keeper Bailey Laplante led the team in saves with three. Laplante and Hope Stacker split time in the IWU shutout.
