WASHINGTON, Mich. - No. 5 Indiana Wesleyan Women's Soccer was hosted by Rochester Christian on Wednesday afternoon up in eastern Michigan. IWU took down the Warriors by a score of 5-0, tallying their season high in goals. Five different Wildcats recorded a goal in the match, including Breena Ireland who scored her first career goal.
Alyssa Hamann found the back of the net first in the 11th minute assisted by Dylan Gonzalez. 8 minutes of action later, Aliyah Denton extended the lead and Hamann picked up the assist. The Wildcats came out of halftime firing as Katelyn VanderArk put one in off a Sam Anderson corner 40 seconds into the second half. The fourth goal came off the foot of Avery Williams in the 65th minute for her first of the season. Only a couple minutes later, Williams assisted Breena Ireland for her first collegiate goal. Indiana Wesleyan looks ahead to their biggest match of the year against No. 1 Cumberlands (Ky.).
