WESTFIELD, Ind. – Saint Xavier (Ill.) swept a doubleheader with Indiana Wesleyan University baseball on Tuesday to complete the four game series between the two teams. Saint Xavier won the opener 12-5 and the nightcap 3-1.
MOUND PRESENCE
Conner Cantrell turned in a stellar pitching performance in the 3-1 loss. He allowed two runs – just one earned – on eight hits in 6.0 innings of work. He did not walk a batter and struck out nine.
COY AT THE PLATE
Nick Coy finished the doubleheader 3-for-5 at the dish with a walk. Coy scored one run and drove in two others while playing left field and catcher for the Wildcats.

Indiana Wesleyan is scheduled to play a four game series vs. Midway (Ky.) on February 15-16 in Midway, Kentucky.
