KINGSPORT, TN. – Indiana Wesleyan Baseball fell to #16 Tennessee Wesleyan with a final score of 8–0 at Hunter Wright Stadium on Tuesday. TWU limited the Wildcats to just four hits and no runs over the course of nine innings.

GAME ONE RECAP
- Tennessee Wesleyan took an early lead in the first inning. Rob Gordon doubled to left center and advanced to third on a passed ball. Josh Shelly hit a sacrifice fly to center field, allowing Gordon to score. David Ballenilla added a solo home run to left center, extending the advantage. The Bulldogs led 2–0 after the first inning.
- In the fourth inning, Kolton Reynolds singled and advanced to third on a throwing error. Jacob Tolson's sacrifice fly brought Reynolds home, increasing Tennessee Wesleyan's lead to 3–0 through four innings.
- TWU expanded its lead in the fifth inning. Rob Gordon's single was followed by Josh Shelly's two-run home run to left field, making it 5–0.
- The sixth inning saw Ethan Wright walk and advance on a sacrifice bunt. Cody McGill singled to left field, driving in Wright. The Bulldogs led 6–0 after six innings.
- In the eighth inning, Ethan Wright walked and advanced to third on a wild pitch before scoring on another wild pitch. Jonathan Bosque scored on a sacrifice fly by Allan Gil Fernandez, concluding Tennessee Wesleyan's scoring. TWU held an 8–0 lead after eight innings.
- Indiana Wesleyan was unable to score, resulting in an 8–0 victory for Tennessee Wesleyan.
