Women's Tennis Wins Twice to Improve to 23-0

LAKELAND/LAKE WALES, Fla. – No. 5 Indiana Wesleyan University women’s tennis defeated Southeastern (Fla.) and Warner (Fla.) today in Florida. The 23-0 start to the season is the best since IWU won 23 straight to open the 2008-09 season.

“The women’s team continues to win convincingly. Again, we were able to strategically rest some of our girls who are tired, sore, and hurt. The girls are playing really good tennis. I love their attitudes both on and off the court. They are really coming together as a team.”


UP NEXT FOR WOMEN’S TENNIS

  • Indiana Wesleyan completes the marathon Spring Break trip with one match on Saturday as IWU plays No. 12 Cardinal Stritch (Wis.) at 9 a.m. in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The match schedule for Saturday afternoon vs. No. 1 Georgia Gwinnett has been canceled due to schedule conflicts.
