MARION, Ind. – Caleb Eder earned the win with seven strong innings and he hit a 3-run home run to lead Indiana Wesleyan University baseball to a 5-2 win over Taylor (Ind.). Wildcat pitchers struck out 12 and induced two key double plays to improve to 5-1 in Crossroads League play.

- Caleb Eder hit a go-ahead 3-run home run in the 2nd inning to put the Wildcats up 4-2.
- The Trojans threatened in the 8th inning, trailing 5-2. A leadoff single chased Eder and Zee Breytenbach replaced him. On his first pitch, he induced a 6-4-3 double play. However, the Trojans followed with a walk and a single to bring the tying run to bat. Pinch hitter Christian McGill hit into a fielder’s choice to end the inning.
