WINONA LAKE, Ind. -- Indiana Wesleyan University baseball crushed four home runs and 14 hits in a 14-2 victory in the second game of the doubleheader at Grace (Ind.). The Lancers won the opening game 3-2 on Friday in walk-off fashion.

• Brandon Shaffer hit an RBI single to score Hayden Castor in the 3rd inning to tie the score 1-1.
• Indiana Wesleyan tied the score once again in the 6th inning when Caleb Eder scored on a wild pitch.

GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS

• Indiana Wesleyan never trailed in game two after scoring a pair of first inning runs. IWU blew the game open in the 4th inning with six runs to grab an 11-2 lead.
• The Wildcats outhit the Lancers 14-6 and scored in six of seven innings.

NEXT TIME OUT

• Indiana Wesleyan and Grace will play again on Saturday. The location has changed and will now be played at Wildcat Field in Marion with a 1 p.m. start time. That game is a Crossroads League game and the two teams will play a second game which will be a non-league game.
