MARION, Ind. (Box Score) -- The Indiana Wesleyan University men's tennis team had little trouble on Tuesday in a 9-0 victory over University of Saint Francis at the Sutter Tennis Center.

The win improves the Wildcats' record to 4-3 on the season and 3-2 in Mid-Central College Conference action.

Tuesday play opened with three quick wins in doubles. Daniel Stoddard and Adam Wroughton earned an 8-3 win in No. 1-doubles, Kyle Johnson and Luke Montgomery won 8-2 in No. 2-doubles and Alex Hornett team with Alan Murphy for the 8-2 victory in No. 3-doubles.

In singles action, Johnson took the win 6-0, 6-1 in No. 1-singles, Wroughton was victorious 6-3, 6-1 in No. 2-singles and Montgomery earned a 6-1, 6-3 win in No. 3-singles. Brooks Ayers earned the point in No. 4-singles by a 6-3, 6-0 margin, Drew Schoomaker captured a 6-4, 6-1 win in No. 5-singles and AJ Goshen completed the sweep with his 3-6, 6-2, 10-6 win in No. 6-singles.

Indiana Wesleyan will next host Taylor (Ind.) University at 4 p.m. on Friday, September 23. The match will commence at the Sutter Tennis Center.
