GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- Indiana Wesleyan dominated play in the opening match of the Boneyard Brawl hosted by Georgetown (Ky.) College.

IWU swept Freed-Hardeman 3-0 at noon by scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-16. The Wildcats have won seven straight and 11 of their last 12 contests.

Sophomore outside hitter Rachel Quackenbush continues to terrorize opponents with a team-best seven kills against the Lions while sophomore setter Yui Iwase passed out 32 assists. Sophomore defensive specialist Jordan Sudzina served a pair of aces.

Defensively, junior libero Kelsey Masuda collected a team-high 15 digs on Friday while junior middle hitter Lauryn Barfell finished with one solo block and three assists.

IWU improves to 18-8 on the year while Freed-Hardeman falls to 10-9.

Indiana Wesleyan returns to the court later this afternoon with a 4 p.m. match versus host Georgetown.
