CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Matt Fleissner hit a walk-off single to lead the Indiana Wesleyan University baseball team to an 8-7 victory over Morningside (Iowa) College on Thursday morning in Clearwater, Florida.

Dan Bruckner pitched a scoreless inning of relief for the Wildcats to earn the victory.

Fleissner ended the game with three hits while Alex Ridlen went 2-for-4 with four RBIs. Ben Zachary, Steven Laake and Brice Davis all added a pair of hits as well.

Indiana Wesleyan completed the doubleheader sweep of Morningside with a 10-6 victory in nine innings in the second game.

Davis had an outstanding game at the plate as he was 4-of-6 with two runs scored. Fleissner and Zachary each collected two hits with two RBIs apiece. Kory Hollensteiner knocked out a pair of hits for two RBIs and two runs.

Indiana Wesleyan is now 5-11 on the season while Morningside falls to 9-6.

The Wildcats will take Friday off before finishing the Spring Break trip on Saturday. IWU will play Morningside and Notre Dame (Ohio) College.
