MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan Football kicker Josh Clifton was named the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Mideast Special Teams Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. This is his second-straight week he has claimed the honor, and the fifth MSFA weekly award for the Wildcats this year.

Clifton was a perfect 8-8 on PAT in a 59-17 win over Saint Xavier. He connected on a 39-yard field goal and scored 11 total points in the win. He also booted one touchback on 10 kickoffs and averaged 56.4 yards per KO

IWU is off this week, but will return to Wildcat Stadium on October 3 against Judson at 12:00 p.m.
