Lima Named NAIA Men's Tennis First Team All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The 2025-26 NAIA Men's Tennis All-American awards were announced Thursday, with junior Matheus Lima being named to the First Team.

Lima adds this award to his first season accolades with IWU, as he was named the Crossroads League Co-Player of the Year. The Wildcats Men's Tennis team completed the season with an overall record of 11-16 and made it to the Crossroads League Tournament Semifinal.

FIRST TEAM

Matheus Lima was named an NAIA All-American for the first time in his first year at Indiana Wesleyan. Lima was the primary No. 1 player in singles and partnered with Michail Klinkov as the primary No. 1 doubles team. He finished the season as the second overall NAIA men's singles player in the ITA rankings.
