SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Indiana Wesleyan baseball fell to Huntington 9-3 in the Crossroads League Tournament at Hank Burbridge Field. Indiana Wesleyan managed two home runs courtesy of
Nick Wiley, but Huntington secured the victory with a decisive seven-run sixth inning. The Wildcats are set to face Spring Arbor tomorrow at 11:00 AM in an elimination game. The winner of that game will face the loser of Taylor vs. Huntington at 6:00 PM for a spot in the Crossroads League Championship.

GAME RECAP
- The Wildcats started strong in the first inning as Jay Tomes scored on a double to left field by Matthew Drozlek. The inning ended with a 1-0 lead for Indiana Wesleyan.
- In the fourth inning, Nick Wiley extended the Wildcats' lead with a solo home run to left field. The score stood at 2-1 in favor of Indiana Wesleyan.
- The sixth inning saw a shift in momentum when the Foresters scored seven runs. This outburst included an RBI single by Cam Clarkson and a two-RBI double by Tanner Reinartz. By the end of the inning, Huntington held an 8-2 lead.
- Wiley hit his second home run of the game in the eighth inning, a solo shot to left field, narrowing the deficit to 9-3. The Wildcats would be unable to add any runs in the ninth.
- Judah Simmons started on the mound for the red and grey, pitching 5.1 innings and allowing four earned runs on seven hits while striking out two batters. Zach Troxel faced a tough outing, giving up four earned runs on four hits without recording an out. Kenna Rankin Jr. entered in relief, pitching .2 innings and striking out two while allowing just one hit. Grayson Schneider closed the game with a solid performance, pitching two innings and allowing one earned run on one hit with three strikeouts.
