MARION, IND. - Indiana Wesleyan Baseball secured a decisive 12–6 victory over Indiana Tech on Tuesday at Crandall Family Field. The Wildcats tallied 14 hits, including two home runs, to overpower the Warriors. The win is the first ranked win of the season for the Wildcats.

GAME ONE RECAP
- In the second inning after a pair of runs by Indiana Tech, the Wildcats rallied with four runs. Matthew Drozlek scored on a walk with the bases loaded, followed by Trevor Vojtkofsky and Ben Seitzinger crossing home plate on consecutive walks. Carson Bush reached on a fielder's choice to drive in another run, concluding the inning with a 4–2 lead.
- The third inning saw IWU extend its lead with three more runs. Vojtkofsky hit a solo home run, and Nick Wiley followed with a two-run homer, making it 7–2.
- The offensive momentum continued in the fourth inning. Vojtkofsky doubled and scored on a throwing error, while Greg Vineyard's two-RBI single increased the advantage to 10–2 after four innings.
- THe Warriors battled back with 3 run in the fifth but in the sixth inning, the Wildcats added two more runs. Vineyard's bunt single, compounded by a throwing error, set the stage for Jay Tomes' two-RBI single, bringing the score to 12–5.
- Indiana Tech managed to score once more in the seventh inning, but IWU maintained control, leading 12–6 through the final innings. The game concluded with a final score of 12–6 in favor of the Wildcats.
- Tarick McGlothin started on the mound, pitching 2 innings and allowing 1 hit and 2 runs, while striking out 1 and finishing with a WHIP of 0.50. Grayson Schneider contributed 1.1 innings in relief, giving up 1 hit and issuing 1 walk, resulting in a WHIP of 1.82.
