Women's Soccer

Women's Soccer Announces 2026 Class

MARION, Ind. – Head Coach Hannah Shay and the Indiana Wesleyan University Women's Soccer program are excited to announce their 2026 signing class. The class includes Ellie Vidic (South Elgin HS), Emily Gorton (Kalamazoo Christian HS), Breena Ireland (Terra Haute South HS), Alanna Jordan (Heritage Christian), Hannah Bolton (Faith Christian), Sadie Gray (Franklin HS), and Brooke Johnson (Northwood HS).

We are so thankful and excited to welcome our incoming freshman class to the Wildcat family. Each of these young women brings both strong character and a high level of soccer ability, and we can’t wait to see how the Lord works in and through them during their time at IWU.

Ellie Vidic

South Elgin H.S.

Ellie Vidic joins the Wildcats from South Elgin H.S. and the Rockford Raptors. The 3x captain led her high school team to three straight conference championships from 2023 to 2025. Vidic was named an All-Conference player once in her career and earned a spot as an All-State Honorable Mention as well.
 

Emily Gorton

Kalamazoo Christian H.S.

Emily Gorton joins IWU by way of Kalamazoo Christian H.S and the TKO Premier SC. Gorton helped her team to become Conference and Regional Champions in 2024 on the way to becoming State Finalists. She was an integral part in helping her squad repeat as Conference and Regional Champions in 2025, ultimately leading to a State Championship. Gorton was 2nd on the team with 18 goals in 2025 and was named First Team All-Conference, a member of the Kalamazoo Area Dream Team, and earned All-State Third Team honors.

Breena Ireland

Terra Haute South

Breena Ireland comes to Indiana Wesleyan following a highly accomplished career at Terra Haute South. Ireland was the Lady Braves' scoring leader in all of her four years (2022-2025) and led the team in assists in 2025. She led her squad to be Sectional Finalists in 2022 and 2025, winning Sectionals in 2024. The 2x captain was named an All-Conference player 3x ('23-25), named to the All-District 1st Team 2x ('23, 24), earned All-District 2nd Team in 2025, and was an All-State Honorable Mention in 2023. Ireland was also succesful in the classroom, earning Academic All-State in 2024 and 2025.
 

Alanna Jordan

Heritage Christian School

Alanna Jordan arrives at IWU following her career at Heritage Christian School and Indy Eleven ECNL RL 2007. Jordan was an integral part of her club team becoming the Indiana State Cup Finalists in 2025. She boasts All City Awards from 2023 to 2025, was an All-USA Central Indiana Super Team 2024 Honorable Mention, was named an Indiana Soccer Coaches Association Top Team Player in 2024, and All-District Second Team in 2025. Jordan is also a succesful student, earning All-Academic awards in 2022 through 2025.

Hannah Bolton

Faith Christian

Hannah Bolton becomes a Wildcat after an accomplished career at Faith Christian. Bolton joins her club teammate in the class, Alanna Jordan, from Indy Eleven ECNL RL 2007. She was a key piece in both her high school and club team success as she helped lead her club team to be a Indiana State Cup Finalist in both 2024 and 2025, 2024 Midwest Division Champions, and 2022 Presidents Cup Champions. Bolton earned All-Region awards at the club level from 2023 to 2025. For her high school team, Bolton was a 2025 All District Honorable Mention, a member of the 2025 All Area Team, a 2025 Academic All State member, a Team Captain in 2025, on the 2024 All Area Team, and a 2024 Academic All State member. During her time at Faith Christian, her squad was 1A Sectional Champions all 4 years (2022-2025) and made a run in 2024 as 1A Regional Champions, 1A Semi-state champions, and 1A State Champions.

Sadie Gray

Franklin H.S.

Sadie Gray comes to Indiana Wesleyan by way of Franklin High School and Tennessee Socer Club ECNL RL. Gray was an important player on a dominant program in Tennessee, helping her school to Division 1 Class AAA Semi-Finals in both 2024 and 2025. She was also a key player on her club team, earning a spot on the 2023 Division 1 Tennessee State Cup All-Tournament Team.

Brooke Johnson

Northwood H.S.

Brooke Johnson rounds out the incoming class from Northwood High School and Indy Eleven North 07/08. While playing for her club squad, Johnson helped them to become national qualifiers and Michiana Futsal Cup Champions. In her high school career, Johnson was named NLC All-Conference, was a team captain and MVP, and led her team to 2 Sectional Championship wins. She is also a succesful student as she earned ISCA Academic All-State honors twice and was a 4x scholar athlete.
