No. 21 Indiana Wesleyan Women's Tennis finished off their spring break trip with a dominate win over Truett McConnell in Georgia on Friday evening. The Wildcats swept the Bears without letting a single match go to a third set.
Sofia Munoz and
Nicole Puga won at no. 1 doubles,
Meribel Jarna and
Lauren Dick paired up for a 6-2 win at no. 2 doubles, and
Paige Riegsecker and
Maria Oliveira collected a tight 7-5 win at no. 3 doubles.
Onto singles,
Katie Parr won the first singles point for IWU at no. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-0. Munoz picked up the next with a decisive 6-2, 6-2 win at no. 1 singles and Jarna followed with a 6-1, 6-3 victory at the no. 2 spot. The Wildcats completed the sweep with Niole Puga,
Lauren Dick, and
Paige Riegsecker all winning their singles matches with both Dick and Riegsecker collecting 6-0, 6-0 triumphs.
