INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - Indiana Wesleyan Baseball suffered two losses to Marian on Saturday at MU Ballpark, falling 13-3 in the first game and 7-0 in the second game. Marian capitalized on a strong offensive performance in game one, highlighted by a seven-run fifth inning, while their pitching staff dominated in game tho, limiting Indiana Wesleyan to just three hits.

GAME ONE RECAP
- In the third inning, Marian broke the scoreless tie when Elijah Kelly scored on a fielding error, giving the home team a 1-0 lead. The inning concluded with the Knights ahead 1-0. Marian extended its lead in the fourth inning when Zach Bale reached on a fielding error and later scored on Hector Corona's double, pushing the score to 2-0.
- The fifth inning saw a surge from the Knights' offense, starting with Brayden Coffey's solo home run. A series of hits, including a double by River Pecina and a triple from Corona, contributed to a seven-run inning that increased Marian's lead to 9-0.
- In the seventh inning, the Wildcats mounted a response. Trevor Vojtkofsky scored on a sacrifice fly by Greg Vineyard. Andrew Sinish, pinch running for Nick Wiley, scored on a wild pitch, followed by Carson Bush crossing the plate on Matthew Drozlek's sacrifice fly. However, Indiana Wesleyan still trailed 13-3 as the game concluded.
- Kevin Corcoran pitched 4.2 innings, allowing five hits and four earned runs while walking three and striking out five. He faced 24 batters and threw 87 pitches, with 50 strikes, and recorded a WHIP of 1.90. Bryce Legel relieved Corcoran, pitching 1.1 innings, during which he allowed two hits, including a home run, and three earned runs. GAME TWO RECAP
- Indiana Wesleyan faced a challenging matchup in the second game, falling 7-0. The game began with Marian taking an early lead in the first inning when Landon Sarkey doubled to left field and scored on Zach Bale's RBI single, putting Marian ahead 1-0.
- In the second inning, a pair of RBI singles extended Marian's lead. Judah Hennessy scored on a single by Nathan Pinarski, followed by Brayden Coffey's RBI single that brought home Tate Bender, giving Marian a 3-0 advantage after two innings.
- The fifth inning saw River Pecina score on a balk, adding an unearned run to Marian's tally, making it 4-0. Marian capitalized further in the sixth inning through a series of errors and strategic plays. Tate Bender scored on a walk, Nathan Pinarski came home on a hit by pitch, and Landon Sarkey scored on a sacrifice fly by River Pecina, bringing the score to 7-0. Indiana Wesleyan struggled to convert opportunities, leaving multiple runners on base throughout the game. - Tarick McGlothin pitched 1.1 innings, allowing three earned runs on five hits, with one walk and no strikeouts. Cooper Chinn delivered a strong relief performance over 3.2 innings, striking out nine batters and conceding just one run despite issuing four walks. Grayson Schneider struggled in his brief appearance, allowing two earned runs on no hits while walking two batters in .1 innings.
