No. 20 Indiana Wesleyan Women's Tennis traveled south to compete in the Missouri Baptist Invite with a match on Friday afternoon against Missouri Baptist University. MBU took the first doubles matchup but IWU won at no. 1 doubles with
Sofia Munoz and
Nicole Puga and then at no. 2 doubles with
Katie Parr and
Maria Oliveira.
Lauren Dick got the first singles point for the Wildcats with a 6-0, 6-2 win at no. 6 singles. IWU would win another point as reigning NAIA Women's Tennis Player of the Week
Sofia Munoz took the no. 1 singles matchup. Missouri Baptist gained their lone point of the match with a win at no. 2 singles.
Katie Parr,
Nicole Puga, and
Maria Oliveira all won their singles in 2 sets and IWU won 6-1.
