Reeb Wins Coach of the Year; Men's Soccer Claims Nine All-Crossroads League Awards

JACKSON, Mich. - The Crossroads League announced this year's Men's Soccer All-League awards on Wednesday with Indiana Wesleyan claiming nine league honors along with Coach of the Year. Nine All-League awards ties the 2024 team for the most in a season for IWU Men's Soccer. The Wildcats won the Crossroads League regular season title for the first time since 2015 with a 13-2-3 overall record and a 7-1-1 conference record, the best conference record under head coach Matt Reeb. Their win total thus far has exceeded last year's total by two wins with the Crossroads and NAIA Tournaments still to come.

COACH REEB PERSPECTIVE

“I’m very excited to see our boys rewarded for their hard work," said head coach Matt Reeb. "I believe that 9 players is the most all conference awards we’ve had in a single season. That being said, these awards are team awards. The hard work of the entire team has contributed to these boys being recognized. I’m grateful for this group and excited for the future.”

YOUNG PERSPECTIVE

“I am incredibly proud of our men's soccer program and the work that has gone into this season,” said Director of Athletics Jon Young. “Winning the Crossroads League regular season championship for the first time in 11 years is a tremendous accomplishment and a reflection of the vision, leadership, and commitment of our coaching staff, as well as the hard work and dedication of our student-athletes. This team has demonstrated what it means to pursue excellence, compete together, and represent Indiana Wesleyan University with character. Congratulations to our coaches and student-athletes on a championship season!”
