GLEGHORN PERSPECTIVE
- "Great job for the ladies to get off to a 1-0 start on the year," said Head Coach James Gleghorn. "It was fantastic to get to be able to play 11 players today and get a chance to see a lot of the freshman play. Super proud of the ladies and looking forward to playing again tomorrow against West Virginia state." Gleghorn continued with, "Most pleased with Katie Parr, as she came back from a set down, won a tiebreaker and then won a super tiebreaker to clinch the match. I love the fight that she had today battling the weather and a tough opponent to come through with a big victory to clinch it for us. Love the fact that as a junior her game has really matured on the court and mentally. It was a great day to watch Katie come from behind to pick up a huge win."
