MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan football junior linebacker
Terry Sylvester was named the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Mideast Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. This is his first league weekly honor of his career and the seventh for the WIldcats this season.
Sylvester led the Wildcat defense with seven tackles including 1.5 tackles for loss in the Wildcats 28-27 victory over Olivet Nazarene on Saturday. He also recorded what became the game winning PAT block in the second quarter, helping Indiana Wesleyan to the narrow victory.
The Wildcats hit the road this Saturday to play Marian University on Saturday, September 27th at 1:00PM eastern. Links for video and stats will be available at IWUWildcats.com.
