MARION, Ind. - The ITA announced the 2025 NAIA Women's Tennis All-America teams on Wednesday, and Wildcat's
France Antezana and
Sofia Munoz were named to the doubles team and Munoz was named to the singles team.
Senior
France Antezana earned All-American in doubles with a record of 22-4 and a final ranking of #9 in the country and #4 in the East Region. Antezana also finished the year with a national ranking of #44 in singles and #10 in the East Region. Antezana caps her career with the Wildcats with multiple All-American honors, national/regional rankings, and ITA regional championships.
Junior
Sofia Munoz "doubled" up on ITA All-American honors by teaming up with Antezana to earn in doubles and was also honored in singles. Munoz shared the #9 final ranking in doubles with Antezana and earned All-American honors in singles with the #7 national ranking. Munoz was the #2 ranked singles player for the East Region.
Coach Gleghorn, " Another phenomenal year in doubles for Sofia and France. They have dominated the region and national scene for a few years. Sofia continues her incredible run in singles and still has one more year! I am really proud of both as players and more importantly as people. France's work ethic, leadership, and sense of humor can't be replaced and I will really miss her next year!"
