MARION, IND. - The Indiana Wesleyan baseball team split their final series of the season, defeating Spring Arbor in game one 13-10 after trailing 9-2 before falling in the nightcap 15-4.
Trevor Vojtkofsky led the offense in game one, going 4-5 with 4 RBIs while senior
Caleb Olsen earned his second win of the season on senior day, going 4 innings in relief and giving up just 1 run on 1 hit.

- Spring Arbor took an early lead with a 2 run homer in the 1st. They added to the lead with another 2 run shot in the 2nd.
- IWU got one run back in the 2nd off a Trevor Vojtkofksy RBI double, scoring Caleb Engelsman, but SAU put 3 runs on the board with another home run in the top of the 3rd.
- Kyle Wu's solo home run in the 3rd cut the lead to 5.
- The Cougars added 2 more runs in the 4th, extending their lead to 9-2.
- The Wildcats began to rally in the 5th, scoring 7 in the inning. Vojtkofsky highlighted the inning with a 2 run home run.
- IWU took their first lead in the 6th on a fielders choice where Jackson Mott scored.
- Spring Arbor hit a solo home run in the 8th but could not score the tying runs in the 9th.
- Kyle WU went 2-5 with 3 RBIs, Nick Wiley was 2-4 with 3 RBIs, and Vojtkofsky was 4-5 with 4 RBIs.
- Caleb Olsen got the win with 4 innings of work, recording 3 strikeouts, 0 walks, 1 hit, and 1 run. Cam LaFuze picked up his 5th save going 1.1 innings and allowed 0 runs.
- Spring Arbor took a 3 run lead in the 2nd, but IWU got 2 runs back in the bottom of the inning with Jay Tomes and Colin Yoder scoring.
- Yoder's first career home run in the bottom of the 4th tied the game at 3.
- It was all Cougars after that as they went on to score 12 unanswered before Yoder crossed on a wild pitch in the 7th.
