GREENTOWN, Ind. - No. 24 Women's Tennis lost the opening match of the Doc Richards Tournament 4-3 to No. 18 UNOH. The Wildcats lost the doubles point to go down 1-0 but quickly battled back with wins at 1, 2, and 4 singles. After losing at 3 singles, the match came down to 5 and 6 singles. IWU couldn't get the 4th win though as they were overpowered in the final two singles matches.

GLEGHORN PERSPECTIVE

 

• "We played well against a team with top-10 talent," said Coach James Gleghorn. "We just couldn't quite find a point between the doubles and the bottom of the lineup. Super proud of the team, we played our best and just got beat by a better team."
