FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan Men's Tennis defeated Indiana Tech 5-2 to close out the spring season away matches. The Wildcats lost at no. one doubles but came back to win at two and three doubles.
Timo Fischer and
Leif Clerc won 6-2 at 2 doubles and
Riley Fuqua and
Isaiah Hostetler won 6-3 at three doubles to clinch the doubles point. In singles, the Wildcats started out strongly winning tiebreakers at 2, 3 and 4 singles. With the wins in the first set, IWU was able to roll through the second sets only giving up a total of four games between the three matches at one single
Ethan Gray came back from a set down to win the match in a third set tiebreaker 10-7. With the win, the Wildcats have won five of their last six matches.

- "The guys did a great job today winning the doubles point which we knew would be crucial for the match," said Head Coach James Gleghorn. "And singles one through four came through in a big way winning tight sets and tight matches to put us over the top. We really are playing good tennis on the men's side."
