SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball was on the road on Wednesday night against Spring Arbor. The Wildcats shot their highest percentage of the year from three-point range, but the Cougars shot 26-28 from the free-throw line, highlighted by 15-16 in the second half, to steal the 84-75 win away from IWU. The red and gray dropped their third-straight road contest of the season and end their 11-game win streak against SAU dating back to Dec. 2018.

- The Wildcats emphasized the deep ball earlier, shooting 5-7 from three through the first 10 minutes of play for a 19-16 lead.
- Luke Brown led all scorers with 11 points in the first half, but IWU trailed by a narrow margin at halftime, 43-40.
- An 11-3 run for Spring Arbor to start the second half helped give the Cougars a 66-58 lead with 10 minutes left to play.
- After cutting the deficit to four points with three minutes left, SAU connected on a dagger three to make it 78-71.
- Spring Arbor converted their free-throws down the stretch to secure the 84-75 win.
