MARION, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball played the second of their three-game stint at home on Wednesday night against Grant County rival, Taylor University. Caedmon Bontrager recorded his 1,000th career-point as the Wildcats earned their seventh-straight victory at home, 76-63. Bontrager only needed 64 games to becomes the 39th player in program history to reach the milestone.

WHAT HAPPENED

• Taylor jumped out to 7-3 lead early, but Indiana Wesleyan used a 9-0 run over a 3:30 span to retake the lead 19-14 through the first ten minutes of play.
• The Wildcats shot 6-12 from 3pt range in the first half, highlighted by three from Luke Brown, to take a 35-25 lead at halftime.
• TU went on a 10-2 run to cut the deficit to 53-46 with ten minutes left in the game.
• IWU shot an efficient 7-10 from the field and 8-12 from the free-throw line over the final 10 minutes to close out their seventh-consecutive win at home.

NOTABLE NUMBERS

• 83%: Luke Brown had his most efficient game from deep, shooting 5-6 at 83%.
• 31: Indiana Wesleyan out-rebounded Taylor, 31-24.
• 8: Isaac Andrews led the Wildcats with 8 rebounds as a guard.
• 5: IWU held TU to just 5 assists, the lowest total from an opponent this year.
