MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan football offensive coordinator,
Travis Palmer, has been announced as a finalist for the 2025 FootballScoop Coach of the Year, presented by TeamWorks. The FootballScoop Coach of the Year awards program is the only of its kind to honor coaching across every position on the field, senior support staff roles, and coordinators at the divisional level. Now in its 18th year, the FootballScoop Coach of the Year award winners also stand alone in that winners are chosen by prior winners.
Palmer is one of six coordinators at the NAIA level to be selected as a finalist. He adds this to his list of accolades that include the 2025 MSFA Mideast Assistant Coach of the Year. The second-year offensive coordinator led an IWU offense that ranked first in the MSFA with 48.8 points-per-game, 520 yards-per-game, 4,179 passing yards, and 80 touchdowns.
Teamworks Coaching and Teamworks Scouting have quickly become essential platforms inside college football offices. As programs sharpen their game-prep processes, strengthen roster management, and prepare for the transfer portal, these platforms are shaping how staffs operate across the country.
Nominated by fellow coaches, the 2025 finalists are a group of 89 men chosen among a cast of thousands across the 729 football-playing institutions in the NCAA and NAIA. Finalists for off-field awards will be announced later this week.Â
Winners will be announced beginning Monday, Dec. 8, and will be honored in conjunction with the American Football Coaches Association convention beginning Jan. 12 in Charlotte.
