MARION, Ind. - Indiana Wesleyan football safety
Vincie Solano was named the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) Mideast Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. This is the second time he has claimed the honor this season, and the 15th MSFA weekly award for the Wildcats this year.
Solano grabbed two interceptions and a season-high 14 tackles in the Wildcats' 56-48 win over Taylor.
IWU returns to Wildcat Stadium for Senior Day on November 8 against Lawrence Tech at 12:00PM.
