MOUNT VERNON, Ohio. - No. 22 Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball played their sixth-straight game away from home on Saturday afternoon at Mount Vernon Nazarene. The Wildcats bounced back from a two-game losing streak to earn a key road victory over the Cougars, 84-71. IWU secured their first win of 2025 behind 24 points from Caedmon Bontrager and two double-doubles by Griffin Kliewer and Marcus Ankney.

• IWU held a 17-15 lead through the first ten minutes of play. The defense forced MVNU into 8 early turnovers.
• The Wildcats held a 20-6 advantage on points in the paint through the first half and led 37-31 at halftime. Griffin Kliewer led the team with 10 points and 7 rebounds.
• Both teams traded runs to begin the second half and margin remained in IWU's favor at 0-53 with 10 minutes left.
• The red and gray offense caught fire to close out the game. The Wildcats went 10-12 from field through the final stretch to earn an important road victory, 84-71.
