NO. 15 WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO NO. 5 AQUINAS COLLEGE

MARION, Ind. - No. 15 Women's soccer falls to No. 5 Aquinas College in a hard fought battle, 3-1. The Wildcat defense held strong in the first half not allowing any goals from the Saints' pressure. Avery Sluss recorded four saves in the first half to keep the game tied at 0-0 going into the half. IWU scored the first goal of the game when Mallory Krueger found the net during the 53rd minute unassisted. Aquinas responded in the 59th minute with a goal of their own to tie the game back up at 1-1. After a hard back and forth fight between the two teams, AQ scored two more goals in the 78th and 84th minutes to win the game 3-1.
