KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA released the seeding and opponents on Thursday evening of the 2024 NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship First & Second Round presented by Ballogy. The Wildcats earned the No. 2 seed in the Duer Quadrant and will welcome Tennessee Southern (7-seed), Tougaloo (Miss.) (10-seed), and Columbia (Mo.) (15-seed) to the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University next week.
The Wildcats will make their 17th NAIA Tournament appearance and 16th consecutive when they hit the court at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 15, against No. 15-seeded Columbia (Mo.).
No. 15-seeded Columbia (Mo.) comes to Marion boasting a record of 24-6. The Cougars are making their 24th NAIA National Tournament appearance after earning an at-large bid out of the American Midwest Conference. No. 7-seeded Tennessee Southern makes their 12th NAIA National Tournament appearance after earning an automatic bid as the regular season champion of the Southern States Athletic Conference. They will match-up against the No. 10-seed Tougaloo (Miss.) who earned an automatic berth as the regular season champions of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference. The Cougars are making their 10th appearance in the NAIA National Tournament.
