GLENDALE, Ariz. – No. 6 Indiana Wesleyan men's basketball traveled out to Arizona to kick off Christmas Break and secured a hard-fought 82-75 victory over Park University Gilbert on Monday. The Wildcats capitalized on a strong first half, building a 53-44 lead at the break, and held off a late push from the Buccaneers to claim the win. Caedmon Bontrager tallied a new season-high with 31 points, the fourth-highest of his career.

FIRST HALF
- Both teams began the game with active offenses early. Julius Gizzi led with seven points in the first five minutes of play to give IWU a 14-11 lead.

SECOND HALF
- 11 combined free throw attempts highlighted a slow first five minutes of the second half as the red and gray maintained a 61-53 lead.
- Park-Gilbert narrowed the gap with a surge, tying the score at 65 with under 8:00 to go.
- Indiana Wesleyan got key defensive stops and went 6-for-8 from the free-throw line in the final minute to secure the lead.
- The team's 19 offensive rebounds were instrumental in maintaining their advantage and marked a season-high.
