MARION, IND. - No. 3 seed Indiana Wesleyan women's soccer advances to the semifinal of the Crossroads League Tournament after a win over Saint Francis, 3-0. Senior Jackie Norris assisted freshman Katelyn VanderArk for the first goal of the game. The Wildcats extended the lead off of a goal by Alyssa Hamann before the end of the half. The final goal for IWU came off the foot of Taylor Archbold and IWU comes away with the 3-0 win.

WHAT HAPPENED

• Senior Jackie Norris assisted the next generation in freshman Katelyn VanderArk for the first goal of the game in the 18th minute.
• IWU scored again off of a free kick by Alyssa Hamann that soared over everybody into the net at the 34th minute mark.
• Taylor Archbold scored the final goal of the game on a crosser that snuck by everyone into the back of the net in the 75th minute.
• The Wildcat defense played amazing and did not let Saint Francis register a single shot all game.

NOTABLE NUMBERS

• 0: Saint Francis registered zero shots against a stifling IWU defense.
• 6: Katelyn VanderArk continued her strong freshman season with her sixth goal of the year tonight.
• 24: Norris' assist gives her a team best 24 points on the season.
