INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - No. 3 seed Indiana Wesleyan women's soccer fell in the semifinal of the Crossroads League Tournament against Marian University, 1-0. It was a similar style game compared to the last matchup between these two nationally ranked teams which ended in a 1-1 draw. It was a close fought battle all game as both defenses made good plays to keep the ball out of their nets. Marian would score the game winning goal in the 87th minute after putting pressure on IWU for most of the second half.

• Neither team was able to gain momentum early and went into halftime tied at 0.
• Both teams put offensive pressure on each other in the second half but Marian controlled the ball for the majority of the second half.
• Avery Sluss made many crucial saves to keep the game tied at 0 for the whole game.
• Marian would find the back of the net in the 87th minute and IWU was unable to answer in the last 2:30 minutes.

• 9: Sluss made 9 saves on the night to keep IWU fighting.
